Kindergarten Registration will be April 8th from 1-5 pm at all Elementary Schools.

• Child must be 5 years old by August 15th
• Bring the following with you to registration:
  • Birth Certificate
  • TN Certification of Immunization
  • Physical Examination (conducted during 2024 calendar year)
  • Two (2) proofs of Putnam County residency: utility bill, tax statement, voter registration card, or a notarized letter from renter.
  • Proof of custody if the child does not live with one or both natural parents

Parents who are unsure of their zoned elementary school should click on “Enrollment Zone Finder”. Parents are to enroll their children in their zoned school based on their residential address. Questions regarding school transportation or school zones should be directed to the Putnam County Schools Transportation Department at 526-9342. Other questions regarding registering children for Kindergarten may be answered by your family’s zoned school or by calling the PCSS Central Office at 526-9777.
